Good News Bible Chapel is led by a team of seven pastor-elders who are responsible for the pastoral care of the church. In addition, a team of dedicated deacons cares for the needs of the church family and the facilities.

The full-time staff at Good News includes Steve DuPlessie, an elder who serves full time as the Teaching Pastor, and Ben Parker, the Director of Youth Ministries.

The Elder Team - The elders help set the spiritual direction of Good News. As "shepherds of the flock" they teach, provide counseling, perform weddings and funerals. Here are the elders:

Steve Duplessie

Steve DuPlessie serves as one of the elders and is on the staff at Good News as the Teaching Pastor. After 15 years as an elder here, and 25 years in a marketing position in the business world, the elders asked Steve to serve full time in 2005. Steve and his wife Deb have been married for over 32 years. They have three married children and three grandchildren.

Steve English

Steve English leads the missions program at Good News and teaches the new Believers class. He and his wife Naomi are former missionaries to Zambia, Africa. They have three adult children. Steve is the Director of Purchasing for FilmX-Technologies in Dayville, CT.

Matt Harris

Matt Harris directs the Care Groups Ministry and the Tech Ministry. Matt is VP Operations at ClickSquared in Waltham, MA. Matt and his wife Sue have two adult children, Ben and Anna.

Bill Wes Silva

Bill "Wes" Silva is a gifted Bible teacher and worship leader. He and his wife Marie lead the mercy and compassion ministries here at Good News. An international banker at BBH in Boston by day, Bill and Marie have two children, Hannah and Katie.

Art Stebbings

Art Stebbings is president of Stebbings Associates, a B-to-B ad agency in Attleboro Falls. Art works with the Men's Ministry Servants leading the men's ministry at Good News. He and Fern live in Rehoboth. They have five married kids, 19 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren!

Dave Stebbings

Dave Stebbings is a worship leader and Care Group leader. Together, he and Ellen lead the marriage and family ministry at Good News. Dave is Vice President of an advertising agency in Attleboro Falls and Ellen is a school teacher in Rehoboth. They live in Rehoboth with four children, Addy, Kelsey, Dane and Zac.

Mark Wurster

Mark Wurster and his wife Kim live on a small farm in Rhode Island with their seven children. Mark leads the weekly Remembrance Service and is involved in personal discipleship. Mark is also a Physical Therapist.

Ben Parker

Youth Ministry - Ben Parker is on the staff at Good News as the Director of Youth Ministries. He is a Youth Ministry graduate of Gordon College, and works with an experienced team of youth ministry volunteers to focus on relational ministry with students. Ben and his wife Jen are the proud new parents of Sadie!

The Deacon Team - The team of Deacons at Good News serve by caring for the finances, the buildings and grounds, general operations. They also administer "The Acts 4:32 Fund," a benevolent fund used to care for the needs of those in need in the Good News family and in the community. The deacons are Dave Carter, Dave Harrington, Wayne Lewis, James Sailors, Dan Stebbings, and Art Warner.
