Let no nasty, snarky, divisive talk come out of your mouths, but only what’s good for building others up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. And don’t make sad the Holy Spirit of God, who wrapped and sealed you for the day of redemption. So, let all bitterness and wrath and anger and arguing and slander disappear from you, along with all malice and ill will. Instead, actually be kind to one another, tenderhearted (and thick-skinned), forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
– Ephesians 4:29-32 SDV* –
Only by grace,
* Ok, so I’m no pro in ancient languages, but I can read multiple English versions of the Bible by the world’s leading scholars, and this is my paraphrase of a key paragraph in Paul’s letter to Ephesus which coaches us on how to redirect our conversation to a biblical, Godly outcome that pleases Jesus.
