Hi Good News family!
Here’s a few things you should know this week…
> HE IS RISEN! RESURRECTION CELEBRATION + BAPTISM! What better way to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior than with the baptism of followers of Jesus! Gospel message. GNKids choir! Invite a friend! All happening this Sunday 10:45am. Read ahead in Matthew 27-28; Mark 16, Luke 24; John 19-21; chapter 27 in The Story.
> BAPTISM THIS SUNDAY — STILL NOT TOO LATE! Are you a believer in Jesus? Have you been baptized as a believer in Jesus? Not yet? Call one of the elders — Dave (774.254.0090), Ray (617.645.7040), Freddy (781.824.1356), or Steve (508.212.1980). Tell them you want to be baptized. They’ll set up a conversation to talk through how God saved you and why you want to be baptized so you can take this important first step as a follower of Jesus.
> PRAYER & PRAISE…
- Pray as we all invite a friend to come and celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus with us this Sunday that the Holy Spirit will be at work int he hearts of women, men and students.
- Praise God for a group of unchurched, unsaved women beginning to read the Bible together, using The Story as a tool to get into God’s word and hear the gospel!
- Continue to pray for our sister Diane Pierce in Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital.
> GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE at 7PM Join us Friday evening in the lower Chapel as we focus together on the cross of Jesus, where he died in our place as our substitute, with songs, Scripture readings, and a special dramatic monologue.
> FAMILIES! DON’T MISS OUT! THIS THURSDAY AND SATURDAY ONLY! The most popular book of all time (next to the Bible) — John Bunyan’s classic, Pilgrim’s Progress — is coming to movie theaters for the first time ever as an all new, feature length, animated movie! In this exciting film event we join Christian on his epic journey from the City of Destruction to the Celestial City, as the ultimate enemy tries everything in his power to distract him from his journey. This allegory challenges and strengthens young believers and draws them into the journey we all face like none other in history. This is the one movie our kids can’t miss.
“The spirit of complaint is born out of an unwillingness to trust God with today. Like the Israelites, it means you are spending your time looking back toward Egypt or wishing for the future, all the while missing what God is doing right now.” ― Priscilla Shirer
> WOMEN, YOU’VE BEEN INVITED to join with area churches for a day of spiritual encouragement. The “Going Beyond!” Simulcast with Priscilla Shirer is being hosted at Cranston Christian Fellowship (1114 Scituate Avenue, Cranston), Saturday, April 27th, 8:30am – 4:30pm. There’s a group of women going from GNBC if you want to join us for some ladies time around the Word. Connect with Christine Mckellar (617.877.0030) or Deb DuPlessie (508.320.3718) for registration details.
> MEN, BREAKFAST EVERY THURSDAY MORNING AT 6AM AT MORIN’S Be part of a group of men talking through God’s word together over breakfast before work at Morin’s every Thursday morning. Got question? > PUT IT ON YOUR CALENDAR The National Day of Prayer this year is Thursday, May 2nd. Plan now to join us at 12:15pm at the flag pole at Attleboro City Hall, 77 Park Street, and/or at 7Pm in the lower Chapel to pray for our communities — the leaders, churches schools, leaders, military, businesses — in our city, state and nation.

We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Only by grace,
