Good News Kids Logog 4

One day some parents brought their children to Jesus so he could lay his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples scolded the parents for bothering him. But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.” And he placed his hands on their heads and blessed them before he left. – Matthew 19:13-15 (NLT)

Kids are important to God so they’re important to us! Good News Kids! is our Sunday morning program for children, an energetic, safe environment for kids to learn about God and the Bible, develop positive relationships, and have fun. We want kids to have a great experience at Good News Bible Chapel!

The Nursery
IMG_4665The Nursery at Good News provides safe and loving care for infants and toddlers up to and including 3 year-olds. Supervision is provided by a co-op of parents and other adults who take turns caring for the children. If your kids benefit from the Nursery, we encourage you to sign up to serve as a volunteer there occasionally. All Nursery leaders and volunteers submit to CORI background checks.

Nursery Hours: The Nursery is open during the 10:45AM Celebration & Growth Service. The volunteers in the Nursery appreciate parents returning to pick up their children promptly after the service as extended baby-sitting is not part of the plan.

The Family Room
Are your kids getting a bit restless during Celebration & Growth Service? Feel free to take them to the Family Room to the left, just outside the Gym doors, off the Upper Lobby. You can watch and listen to the service over a closed circuit TV and not have to worry about disturbing others. All children must be accompanied by a parent in the Family Room.

Good News Kids! @ 10:45AM for children Pre-K – 6th Grade
IMG_4627IMG_4661GNKids! offers an energetic, fun, upbeat experience that your kids will love! Music, drama, stories, crafts, games … there is no shortage of energy each Sunday. Good News Kids! is a safe environment that focuses on your child’s needs. Our approach is relevant, and our creative, age-appropriate lessons are lots of fun.

Good News Kids! is here to partner with parents in teaching your kids about Jesus. Kids in GNKids! learn about the Bible, they learn about building relationships, and most of all they learn that they are loved by God. — Pre-K through 6th grade — to get engaged at GNBC, to meet other kids, and to explore and grow in their faith in Jesus Christ.

Led by Jenn & Ben Parker, GNK! classes are taught by teams of experienced volunteer teachers using the “252Basics” curriculum from Think Orange Publishing. Ask a Greeter for more information about getting your children involved in Good News Kids!IMG_4601IMG_4641

Please try to pick up your children as soon as the service ends, as long term long-term baby sitting is not part of the plan. Thanks!

NOTE: All GNK! leaders, teachers, and  volunteers submit to CORI background checks.
