One day some parents brought their children to Jesus so he could lay his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples scolded the parents for bothering him. But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.” And he placed his hands on their heads and blessed them before he left. – Matthew 19:13-15 (NLT)
Kids are important to God so they’re important to us! Good News Kids! is our Sunday morning program for children, an energetic, safe environment for kids to learn about God and the Bible, develop positive relationships, and have fun. We want kids to have a great experience at Good News Bible Chapel!
Good News Kids! for children Pre-K – 6th Grade
Good News Kids! is here to partner with parents in teaching your kids about Jesus. Kids in GNKids! learn about the Bible, they learn about building relationships, and most of all they learn that they are known and loved by God.
The current GNK curriculum is The Gospel Project, a chronological trip through the entire Bible with the focus on the good news of God’s plan of salvation through Jesus. Each week, age-appropriate lessons explore a new Bible story at each class level, covering the entire Bible in three years. Music, videos, stories, crafts, games … there is no shortage of energy each Sunday.
NOTE: All GNKids! leaders, teachers, and volunteers submit to CORI background checks.
The Family Room
Are your kids getting a bit restless during Celebration & Growth Service? Feel free to take them to the Family Room to the left, just outside the Gym doors, off the Upper Lobby. You can watch and listen to the service over a closed circuit TV and not have to worry about disturbing others. All children must be accompanied by a parent in the Family Room.
